About 4 months ago I purchased a Google Home device.  Cindy and I use it to make things a little easier and to keep us organized.

Google Home is a small microphone and speaker that connects to your router via wifi.  You talk to it and ask it questions.  In between you and Google’s vast digitized world is this superb device that can connect you “hands free” with all sorts of information, music, news, lists, timers, and many more things.

I gave a talk last year on this thing (I borrowed Ross Clark’s device) and with zero experience get a pretty good demo.  Now I have 4+ months of experience with it myself.  For us old farts with limited mobility it’s pretty awesome.

I will likely give this talk again in November or December so if you can’t make it that’s ok.

Remember that I’m there early at 12:30 to answer ANY questions you might have with your laptop, tablet, phone etc.  So come early if you need to.
