Next meeting Friday Jan 16th 1:30pm
Cantina Quilting Lounge
If you’re like me, you use Gmail a lot. And by a lot I mean A LOT. I gave this presentation back during the summer and now it’s time for all you snowbirds to have a go at it.

In this session you’ll learn how to make use of some very powerful features of desktop Gmail. The version you use with a web browser like Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox on a laptop or a PC. All of the versions of Gmail that run on phones and tablets are very different so this class will focus on the Gmail functions available through a web browser.
If you are using AOL or Yahoo email and you are happy (unlikely) you’ll be able to see what Gmail is all about and learn how to:
- Organize your email with Labels (folders)
- Automatically put email into labels with Filters (very powerful)
- Import other email accounts you have (AOL, Embarq etc) into Gmail
- Customize the appearance of Gmail to best suit your needs
- Add special features from “Gmail Labs”
So let’s kick off a new Computer Club year by all becoming Gmail experts!!!
