On Friday, in addition to a quick update on the latest about Windows 10, I will give a brief presentation on fonts and typography.

Want to know the difference between Serif and Sans Serif fonts?  What the heck is a serif anyway?  How about font scaling and kerning?  Why do some books you read seem more pleasant to the eye (and brain) than others.  Font design is a HUGE secret world that lurks just beneath your perception.  So come and learn a little about this secret world.

As usual, I’ll be there (early) at 1:00pm to answer your questions or mess with your laptop if needed.
