To install GIMP

Go to www.gimp.org

Click on the Downloads link in the top menu bar

Click on the Microsoft Windows link

(Important) Click on the button that says “Download GIMP 2.8.20 Directly

A 75MB file will get downloaded so click on that to install it.  Accept all the defaults when installing.
